6.3.1.1.3 RSCS Records
RSCS records are not produced by the CP but are passed to the
CP by RSCS using the account interface diagnose instruction
X'4C'. These are generically known as user records or C0
records. They are identified in the CA MICS VM and CMS
Analyzer by installation code in the %VMC0EXIT, so that a
distinction is possible between RSCS records and records
produced by other facilities.
The information provided by RSCS is the origin and
destination of the spooled file (whether the file is
transmitted or received), the spool class, original and local
spool numbers, record count, and device type of the virtual
device used to create the file.
