Sorting on Date Fields

When a date field that is in YYDDD, YYMMDD, or YY/MM/DD format is specified in a SORT statement, the century is taken into account in setting up the SORT field.If the year is 59 or less, it is treated as being in the 21st century; if the year is 60 or higher, it is treated as being in the 20th century.Thus, when performing a sort in ascending sequence, CA JARS Wizard sorts a YYDDD field containing "99364" (December 30, 1999) ahead of a field containing "00003" (January 3, 2000).
