21st Century Support

The overall design of 21st century support in CA JARS Wizard is to treat years with values of 00 through 59 as being in the 21st century; for example, 2000-2059, and years with values of 60 through 99 as being in the 20th century; for example, 1960-1999. In order for a field to be processed and displayed in this manner, the field must be defined with an attribute identifying it as a date field. Additionally, in order for CA JARS Wizard to take the century into account when sorting, comparing, or performing selection/rejection on a field, it must be defined with the YYDDD, YYMMDD, or YY/MM/DD attribute. The following text discusses in detail each of the areas of date processing affected by 21st century support.
