Connect CA Identity Manager to WebFort

Before you can use CA Identity Manager to provision WebFort users, set up the connection between CA Identity Manager and WebFort.

Follow these steps:

  1. In CA Identity Manager, click the Endpoints tab, Manage Endpoints, Create Endpoint.

    The Create Endpoint: Select Endpoint screen appears.

  2. In the Create a new Endpoint Type list, select Arcot, and click OK.

    The Endpoint Tab appears.

  3. Complete the following fields on the Endpoint tab, and click OK.
    Endpoint Name

    Defines the endpoint name of the Arcot connector.

    Arcot Organizations

    Defines the name of Arcot organizations you want to manage. Verify that the organization you enter exists in Arcot and is in an Active state.

    UDS Server URL

    Defines the Arcot UDS server URL used to retrieve Arcot organizations. Enter the URL, as follows:

    http://host:port/context-root
    
    host

    Identifies the name of the computer on which UDS is running

    port

    Identifies the port on which WebFort is available

    context-root

    Specifies the application context root. By default, this is arcotuds.

    Note: If you have set up two-way SSL, use an HTTPS URL.

    WebFort Server URL

    Defines the WebFort server URL used to manage users and credentials. Enter the URL, as follows:

    http://host:port
    
    host

    Identifies the name of the computer on which WebFort is running

    port

    Identifies the port used by Transaction Web Service

    WebFort QnA Questions

    Defines the default questions used to create WebFort QnA credentials.

    Enable HTTP Proxy Authentication

    When selected, specifies that HTTP Proxy authentication is required to communicate with WebFort endpoints.

    Default Account Template

    Defines the default account template of the endpoint. The default account template is used to create new accounts on the endpoint.

    CA Identity Manager acquires the WebFort endpoint.

Connect CA Identity Manager to RegFort

Follow these steps:

  1. Connect CA Identity Manager to WebFort.
  2. In CA Identity Manager, select the RegFort tab.
  3. Select the Use RegFort box.
  4. Enter the RegFort Server URL:
    http://host:port/context-root
    host

    Identifies the name of the computer on which RegFort is running

    port

    Identifies the port on which RegFort is available

    context-root

    Specifies the application context root. By default, this is regfort.

    Note: If you have set up two-way SSL, use an HTTPS URL.

  5. Enter the RegFort Caller ID.

    This can be any value. It can help you identify requests generated by the connector.

Note: You can disable the connection to RegFort by deselecting the Use RegFort box.
