How to Localize Remote Control Dialogs

To produce localized Remote Control files, use one of the following methods:

Method 1: Make copies of all English resource files and rename them to include the appropriate language code. These copies are then localized. Some additional configuration is also needed to make use of the new files. The advantage of this is that the English version remains available if required. The disadvantage is that there is more work involved.
Method 2: Translate the English (en) versions of these files and Remote Control automatically uses them. Typically, Remote Control searches for files matching your local language and, if it cannot find them, falls back to English. In this case, the English files are used and contain your translations. The advantage of this scheme is that it is simple, but the English version is not available.

The following sections assume that Method 1 is being used to produce localized files.
