Remote Control Managers

In a centrally managed environment, a host agent connects to the Remote Control enterprise or domain manager, which supplies critical information to the host agent. For example, it can validate viewer credentials, provide the host agent with up-to-date configuration policy, and grant access rights to the host agent. The remote control manager provides a custom address book to the currently logged on user. Event and security logs are also logged by this manager.

Note: For more information about working with CA ITCM enterprise and domain managers, see the Implementation Guide.
