Recording Remote Control Sessions

Recording takes place as a function of viewing the host through the Remote Control viewer, or through the manual recording and host-side recording features of the host. All actions on the host can be recorded and saved.

Note: For more information about the host-side recording features, see the Remote Control Host Help.

When recording, the viewer computer becomes the recorder. A recorded session is saved as a proprietary file, automatically formatted with the *.urc extension, and is automatically registered in the Recently Recorded Sessions folder.

Sessions recorded on any computer can be replayed on another computer using the stand-alone version of the replayer. You do not need to have the Remote Control viewer installed on the replay computer.
