An asset that is enabled for remote control functionality is indicated by the presence of a Remote Control subnode under the Computers and Users, All Computers node. From the Remote Control subnode, you can take control of that asset and start a remote control session using the Connection Settings dialog.
Note: On Windows 2000 hosts, if the DSM Explorer is running when a Remote Control connection is accepted, some of the pages shown in the right pane of the DSM Explorer may appear blank on both the host and viewer. This can be resolved by installing the latest version of Microsoft DirectX (currently 9.0c) on the host computer.
