Delete a Model

CA APM lets you delete a model from the repository. For example, all computers have been updated to Windows XP and you no longer need Windows 98. In this example, you delete the Windows 98 model that is no longer needed. If there are assets defined for the model, you cannot delete the model.

Important! When you delete an object, you can no longer view the audit history for the object. We recommend that instead of deleting the object, you make the object inactive. That way, you can still view the audit history for the object.

To delete a model

1. Click Model.
2. Search to find the list of available models.
3. Click the model you want to delete.
4. Click Delete and confirm that you want to delete the model.

   The model is deleted.
