Verify the Connection to CA IdentityMinder

A connection to CA GovernanceMinder is automatically configured in CA IdentityMinder to enable integration. Verify that the connection object in CA IdentityMinder was created.

To verify the connection object to CA GovernanceMinder

1. Log in to the User Console as a user with system management privileges.
2. Go to System, CA GovernanceMinder Configuration, Define Configuration.

   The CA GovernanceMinder connection details are automatically populated under the Connection Settings tab.

   This connection object also defines the Smart Provisioning and Continuous Update settings that are also made available after the initial import.

3. Click Test Connection to verify that CA IdentityMinder can connect to CA GovernanceMinder.

   CA IdentityMinder displays the connection status at the top of the screen.

4. Click Cancel.

   CA IdentityMinder can now successfully communicate with CA GovernanceMinder.

Note: If there is a problem with the connection object, manually configure a connection to CA GovernanceMinder.
