Enable Roaming Profiles

You can create the user profiles as roaming user profiles when migrating users into Active Directory.

To enable the creation of roaming profiles

  1. Open DMM Options Editor from the Start menu.

    DMM Options Editor opens.

  2. Click the File Open toolbar button.

    The Open dialog appears.

  3. Click Browse to locate the folder where CA DMM is installed, and then select the DDNAOptions.dox file.

    The DMM Options file opens in the DMM Options Editor.

  4. Click the User Profile branch.

    The User Profile options appear in the right pane of the DMM Options Editor.

  5. Select the check box for Create Roaming User Profiles.

    A check mark appears in the field.

  6. Enter a valid, existing shared UNC path in the Roaming Profile Path field.

    Note: This path must exist on the network before the migration takes place.

  7. Click the Save toolbar button.

    DMM Options Editor saves your changes.

  8. Close the DMM Options Editor.
