Change Default Overwrite Options

You can change the default overwrite settings based on your requirements. You can decide when to overwrite duplicate files when applying a DNA file or DNA file revision.

To change the default overwrite options

1. Open the DMM Options Editor from the Start menu.

   The DMM Options Editor opens.

2. Click the File Open toolbar button.

   The Open dialog opens.

3. Select the DDNAOptions.dox file.

   The DMM Options file will open in the DMM Options Editor.

4. Click the General branch.

   The General options appear in the right pane of the DMM Options Editor.

5. Scroll down to the Migration Overwrite option, and then select the option you prefer.

   The new setting appears.

6. Scroll down to the Revision Overwrite options, and then select the option you prefer.

   The new setting appears.

7. Click the Save toolbar button.

   Your changes are saved to the DDNAOptions.dox file.

8. Close the DMM Options Editor.

   Your changes to the overwrite options take effect the next time you run CA DMM.
