Run the Encryption Key Recovery Command

Use the following command on the command prompt for recovering the password of the recoverable DNA (or SE) file:

DesktopDNA /rp <dna or SE file path> /prk <privatekey path>
/rp

Recovers the password or FIPS key for the DNA (or SE) file.

/prk

Represents the private key.

Note: By default, the recovered password or FIPS key is saved in a file named DMMRecoveredPassword.txt (password) or DMMRecoveredKey.dat (FIPS key) in the My Documents folder.
