Select Settings

Now that you have chosen the type of migration to perform, you must decide what is stored in a DNA file or migrated from a DNA file.

The Select Settings page introduces you to items you can select in later pages. They include the following:

• Select one or more of any of the users who use this system.
• Select which of the computer users’ settings to migrate.
• Select system settings like Registry, Desktop, and Network settings.
• Select applications to migrate.
• Select application settings like macros, preferences, and browser bookmarks.
• Select folders and files to migrate.

Note: Because CA DMM detects your operating system settings, installed applications, and available drives, the choices available in the Settings tab correspond to the items on the source system that are available for migration.
