Perform a Fast Verification of the DNA File

DMM Explorer can perform a quick verification of the DNA file at any time provided the checksums are present in the DNA file.

Note: The DNA files created with the versions prior to r11.1 do not have checksums. So, you can perform fast verification only on the r11.1 (or above) DNA files. To enable DNA to add checksum in the DNA file, enable the Verify DNA File option in the options file.

To perform a quickest verification using DMM Explorer

1. Open DMM Explorer from the Start menu.
2. Click the Verify toolbar button.

   The Verify Detail Level message appears.

3. Select Quickest and click OK.

   The file Open dialog box appears.

4. Locate the DNA file that you want to verify and click Open.

   The file verification starts. Once the verification is complete, the Verify Results message appears with the results of verification.
