The CA-Datamacs/II CA-DATACOM/DB interface is designed to execute under both MVS and VSE operating systems. All load modules are RMODE 24 and AMODE 24.
CA-Datamacs/II Release 1.1 supports CA-DATACOM/DB Releases 7.5 and above. Both SQL tables and non-SQL tables can be populated with test data. The SQL tables must be defined to Datadictionary before the CA-Datamacs/II job run. CA-Datamacs/II commands, which are patterned after CA-DATACOM/DB record-at-a-time commands, must be used to navigate and populate the SQL tables. Integrity rules will be enforced, not by CA-Datamacs/II, but by CA-DATACOM/DB. If there is a violation of a rule, CA-Datamacs/II will terminate the run and issue an appropriate DATACOM/DB message.
