Using the Eventlist Interface › Starting Eventlist
Starting Eventlist
You can start Eventlist in one of two ways:
- As an ENS action routine that is executed as a result of a filter definition (that is, Multi-Line Window) in the configuration database (see the chapter Supplied Action Routines).
- As an interactive process that you start from the operating system command line (see the section, Starting Eventlist from the Command Line Interface, later in this chapter) or the C3 interface (see the section, Starting Eventlist from the C3 Interface, later in this chapter).
The Eventlist title bar reflects the name of the Console Manager host it is receiving events from.
Note: You must set the system's SYSGEN parameter SCSNODE in order for the system name to be displayed in the title bar.
When you iconify Eventlist, the icon changes color to represent the highest priority event that has occurred since iconification.
