Modifying and Deleting Events

Before you can modify or delete entries in the configuration database, you must have the Edit Configuration data privilege set in your user entry.

To modify an event, use the modify event command.

To delete an event, use the delete event command.

Note: We recommend that you do not remove the predefined Console Manager events (prefixed with CMGR) from the database. However, you may redefine the priorities of these events if you wish. Any changes you make to these event definitions may not be preserved when your Console Manager installation is upgraded with new releases.
