Verifying the Integrity of Log and Archive Files

To verify the integrity of the log and archive files, enter:

$ CONSOLE VERIFY system-name

Caution! Before you can verify the integrity of the log and archive files of your serviced systems, you must shut down the Console Manager software. This is to ensure that these files are not updated by Console Manager during the verification.

By default, Console Manager produces a summary report. If you require a full report, then use the following command:

$ CONSOLE VERIFY system-name /FULL
