Recreating the Console Manager Configuration Database

You may need to create a new template configuration database file (for example, if the file already exists because you are reinstalling Console Manager).

To create a new template configuration database, delete your current configuration database file and build a new file as follows:

Run the configuration editor interactively and import the installation template file:

$ DELETE CONSOLE$DATA:CONSOLE_CFG.DAT;* 
$ CONSOLE EDIT/INTERACTIVE=CHARACTER_CELL IMPORT - CONSOLE$TEMPLATES:CONSOLE$CONFIG.PORT
