Saving the Contents of the Database in Another Binary File

To avoid accidentally starting Console Manager with an incomplete configuration database, the configuration editor allows you to redirect updated information to a file other than the standard configuration database. It also allows you to resume editing this file if it is only partially complete.

To save updates to the configuration database in a binary file with a name different to the default configuration database:

1. Pull down the File menu and choose the Save as ... menu item.
2. Complete the required file name in the dialog box.
3. Click OK.
