Entry Points

CA CSDP communicates with an SO through standardized interfaces that are known as entry points. The types of entry points are:

• Service

  Manages the service functions

• Tenant

  Manages the tenant functions

The basic entry points are:

• Initialize
• Estimate
• Instantiate
• Configure
• Test
• Activate
• Collect
• Inactivate
• Remove

Note: After the service is imported on CA CSDP, basic user information is required to initialize the service.

CA CSDP invokes the appropriate entry point workflow that is based on the SO workflows that are already deployed. An SO is required to implement workflows for all service and tenant entry points. If the SO does not support the entry point function, that entry point workflow returns the control to the invoking CA CSDP workflow.
