LDAP Configuration

To use the central hub as an LDAP proxy, change the LDAP configuration in the regional hub.

Follow these steps:

  1. Log in to CA Nimsoft Infrastructure Manager and navigate to the Regional Hub.
  2. Right-click the hub probe on the regional server and select Configure.
  3. Click Settings on the General tab and go to the LDAP tab.
  4. Make the following changes:
    1. Select the Nimsoft Proxy Hub option.
    2. Check the box for Proxy LDAP Authentication and click Refresh.
    3. Proxy Hub = /MaaS-Central-Domain/MaaS-Central-Hub/MaaS-Central-Robot/hub
    4. Proxy Retries = 3 (default)
    5. Authentication Sequence = LDAP > Nimsoft (default)
    6. Proxy Timeout = 10 (default)
  5. Click OK.
  6. Click Apply, then OK.
  7. Restart the regional hub.

You have successfully configured the LDAP to use Central Hub as an LDAP Proxy.
