Monitoring as a Service (MaaS) is available to customers after deployment. By default, only the service provider administrator has rights to deploy and maintain the service.
Customers can subscribe for the service after the service provider registers the service. The following deployment choices specify the size and scalability of monitoring components:
Supports 2,500 devices and 100,000 interfaces by default.
Important! The central deployment is a one-time task. The system does not allow you to redeploy the service.
Supports an extra 2,500 devices and 100,000 interfaces. To add more devices and interfaces to the centrally deployed resources, add regional deployment.
You provide the deployment details for a central deployment using the service portal form to register the service. First select the central deployment option. After you deploy the service centrally, select the regional deployment option to deploy the services in one of the regions.
The service portal lets you deploy the monitoring services automatically or manually.
Note: This release of Monitoring Services supports only manual deployment.
Important! Do not abort the CA Process Automation flow while deploying the monitoring service or registering tenants.
