Verify Alarm Notifier Execution on CA Spectrum Main Landscape Server

Restart the server and then verify that the alarm notifier process is executed.

Follow these steps:

  1. Start the Windows Task Manager and click the Processes tab.
  2. Locate the process Image Name AlarmNotifier.exe.
  3. Confirm that the Command Line includes “CMDB.Synch.alarmrc”.

    Note: The alarm notifier is executed only if the SpectroServer process is executed.

  4. If the alarm notifier is not executed, do the following steps:
    1. Log in to Spectrum Main Landscape Server (MaaS-Spectrum) with the user name as Spectrum.
    2. Open the command prompt, and navigate to {Spectrum installation directory}\Notifier directory.
    3. Execute the following command in a command prompt: 
      	AlarmNotifier -r CMDB.Synch\.alarmrc
    4. Close the command prompt.

    You have verified that the alarm notifier process is executed on the main landscape server.
