Install OVF Tool

Install the OVF Tool before you deploy the OVF templates automatically. For more information about the OVF Tool, go to www.vmware.com.or see the VMware OVF Tool User Guide.

This section describes how you install the OVF Tool to deploy OVF templates.

Note: See the OVF Tool documentation for prerequisites and detailed installation procedure.

Follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the CA Process Automation system with administrator credentials.
  2. Go to http://communities.vmware.com/community/vmtn/vsphere/automationtools/ovf
  3. Click Download and extract the OVF Tool to the location where the appliances are copied.
  4. Run the installer and complete the installation.
  5. Restart the system.

    The OVF tool is installed.
