Edit Properties of Files in the CMP File

To edit properties of files contained in the CMP File means to set or modify options, attributes, or the directory path of the files. You can edit properties of multiple files at the same time.

To edit properties of files in the CMP File

  1. Select one or more files from the CMP File.
  2. Do one of the following:

    The Properties dialog appears, providing the Directory, Attributes, and Options tabs.

    Note: If you double-click within one of the File, Attributes, or Options fields of a single file (selected or not), the Properties dialog appears with the relevant Properties tab in front.

  3. Choose the appropriate tab to change file properties. Click Apply on each tab to confirm the changes without leaving the Properties dialog, or click OK

    The properties changes appear in the CMP File window and the changed files are marked with the File in modification symbol File in modification icon in the left margin of the CMP File window.
