Start or Open Files from the CMP File

You can start or open a single file or multiple compressed files from the CMP File, depending on their file extensions. Start or open a file is available only with the Modify Contents and the Add File functions.

The Start/Open function applies to the checked out file or the file you selected to add to the CMP File.

To start or open files from the CMP File

1. Select one or more files from the CMP File.
2. Do one of the following:
   • Click the Start/Open button on the toolbar.
   • Choose Start/Open from the Edit menu
   • Right-click a selected file in the CMP File window, and choose Start/Open from the context menu,
