Step 1: Extract the ZIP file

Make sure you download the XOG client from CA Clarity PPM before extracting XOG on the UNIX Service Desk application server.

To extract the ZIP file

  1. Login as the root user in UNIX.
  2. Create /<path>/Clarity/XOG folder structure.
  3. Copy xogclient.zip to /<path>/Clarity/XOG.
  4. Unzip the contents to /<path>/Clarity/XOG.
  5. Change directory to /<path>/Clarity/XOG/bin.
  6. Grant read and execute rights for cai.sh file by executing the following at the command prompt: 
    chmod 555 cai.sh
