Step 1: Extract the ZIP file
Make sure you download the XML Open Gateway (XOG) client from CA Clarity PPM before extracting XOG on the LINUX Service Desk application server.
To extract the ZIP file
- Log in as the root user in LINUX.
- Create /<path>/Clarity/XOG folder structure.
- Copy xogclient.zip to /<path>/Clarity/XOG.
- Unzip the contents to /<path>/Clarity/XOG.
- Change directory to /<path>/Clarity/XOG/bin.
- Assign read and execute rights for cai.sh file by executing the following at the command prompt:
chmod 555 cai.sh
