Configure Plug-in to Run as Scheduled Windows Task

After installing the Quality Center plug-in and configuring it for CA Clarity Agile and CA Clarity Requirements, set up the plug-in to run as a scheduled Windows task. For example, you can configure it to run daily, weekly, or monthly. Whenever the scheduled task runs, the CA Clarity Agile plug-in for the HP Quality Center console opens and starts the background sync service. The background service transfers Quality Center projects and test case data to CA Clarity Agile. When the task is finished, the console is closed automatically.

You can change the scheduling parameters of the Windows task at any time after creating the task.

Note: To stop all data transfers from Quality Center to CA Clarity Agile, disable the scheduled Windows task.

See the Microsoft Windows documentation for more information about creating scheduled tasks.
