Generate a Booklet

This section explains how to create a booklet using the template.

Follow these steps:

  1. From the web application, go to Service Level Management, Contracts.
  2. Click on a Contract.
    The contract details view opens.
  3. Select the Attachments tab.
  4. Click the "Add New" button and select "Upload document" from the drop down menu.
    The Attachment Details view opens.
  5. Click on Browse.
  6. Upload the *.docx or *.rtf document template you created previously.
  7. Enter a name in the Name Field.
  8. Add the Description and Category (Optional)
  9. Select "Export Document" in the Type Field.
  10. Click Save.
    You receive a dialog box stating that "Attachment was added successfully".
  11. Click OK.
  12. Click the Edit icon.
  13. Click the Generate button.
    You receive a dialog box stating that "Document is generated. Click here to open the file."
  14. Select "Click here to open the file".
    The booklet opens.
  15. Select Open.
    The booklet appears.

Error Handling

If there was an error generating the tag date, you receive a comment explaining the nature of the error and instructions to fix the error.

The two types of errors are generation and internal errors. A generation error is a user originated error. An internal error is a system error. If there is a system error, look at the detailed log entries in the web UI log and take the necessary steps to correct the issue.
