Surveys are an important method for the collection of Service Measurement Index (SMI) indicator data. Indicator data are quantifiable measurements of the end-users evaluation of a given service. You can make the indicator measurements comparable between services, and between organizations, by keeping questions consistent. A library of SMI indicator questions is supplied within CA Business Service Insight to enable the creation of SMI surveys. A survey could be all of the SMI indicator questions, or a single question, based upon the informational needs of the enterprise.
In creating a survey, a service is selected first followed by selection of the individuals whom you want to participate. The indicator questions are then selected, either by groups or by individual questions. Finally the survey is reviewed and email invitations are sent to the users selected in the second step.
Use the following process to create and send your survey.
