Stop an Adapter

Stopping an adapter disconnects the communication channel between the adapter and CA Business Service Insight. Adapters must be stopped in order to:

• Edit the properties of the adapter, as described in Edit an Adapter.
• Delete translation tables, as described in Delete a Translation Table.

To stop an adapter:

In the Adapters page, locate the adapter whose communication channel should be deactivated and click . The status of the adapter changes from Started to Stopping and then to Inactive.
