Start an Adapter

After the communication channel to an adapter is added to CA Business Service Insight, the channel must be opened. This enables CA Business Service Insight to begin receiving data from the measurement tool to which the adapter is connected.

To start an adapter:

In the Adapters page, locate the adapter whose communication channel should be activated and click Start Adapter (Icon). The status of the adapter changes to Starting and then to Started.
