Loading Pending Records

After a user fills-in a form, the records are automatically loaded into the system as standard Raw Data events. However, if there are fields in the record that require translation, the record remains in “Pending” status until proper translation takes place. The following scenarios are observed:

• No new Translation is needed

  In this scenario, the records submitted are automatically loaded into the system.

• Some records require new translation and stay in “Pending” status (translation by script)

  In this scenario, a translation script, either a default translation script or some other, exists. This translation script runs automatically and performs the required translation. The administrator then clicks next to the form and selects Load Pending Records. The records are now loaded into the system.

• Some records require new translation and stay in “Pending” status (manual translation)

  In this scenario, no translation script exists.

  1. On the main menu, click Design, Translation, Translation Entries and translate the relevant entries. For more information, see Translating Translation Entries.
  2. On the main menu, click Design, Data Acquisition, Data Loading Forms and click next to the form and select Load Pending Records. The records are now loaded into the system.

Note: The number of pending records for each form can be viewed under the Pending Records column in the Data Loading Forms page.

Note: The pending records can be viewed using the Admin - Data Loading Forms - Show pending records report located under the Admin Reports folder.
