Search for a Function

By default, the Functions page displays an alphabetical list of all defined functions. To shorten the list, use the search procedure defined in this section.

To search for a function

  1. In the Functions page, select a search option, either by Name or by Description.
  2. Enter your search criteria in the Name field.
  3. In Service Domain, select a service domain from the drop-down list.
  4. In Domain Category, select a domain category from the drop-down list.
  5. Click Search. The results are displayed below the search area.

Note: You can also select a letter from the alphabet list to display a list of timeslot templates that begin with that letter. You can also select a predefined search from the Saved Searches drop-down list

Adding a Business Logic Component

To add a business logic component:

  1. In the Business Logic Components page, click Add New. The Business Logic Components page is displayed.
  2. In the General tab:

  3. In the Details tab:
  4. In the Notes tab, enter notes about the metric.
  5. In the Clustering tab, select whether the metric is clustered or not. For more information see, Creating a Clustered Metric.
  6. In the Granularity tab, select the additional time units for which the metric is calculated.
  7. In the Objective Statement tab, add or edit the fields and parameters of objective statement. For more information, see Customizing an Objective Statement.
  8. In the Business Logic Interface tab, select one business logic module and define the interfaces to the chosen module.
  9. Click Apply to save changes and stay in the current page.
  10. Click Save to save changes and return to the previous page.
  11. Click Cancel to discard changes and return to the previous page.
