Functions are predefined business logic formulas. They include simple formulas such as average, minimum, maximum and more complex and business-driven ones such as availability, success in tickets handling.
A function is used as a template for a quick metric and/or a metric. You do not affect the quick metrics, or the metrics which were created from a function, when you update a function.
Functions are not version controlled.
You cannot check a function in the Functions page. Check a function by creating a Quick Metric that is based on a function, defining the filter, and then running the quick metric.
