Copy a Timeslot

You can copy a timeslot from a contract, contract template or timeslot template to a contract, service level template, contract template or timeslot template.

A compound timeslot copies all of its components. If a collision between the existing and the new components occurs, you can select whether to use the existing timeslot or the new one.

For example, if you copy a contract template with a weekly timeslot A and you already have a weekly timeslot A with different content, you can choose to keep the existing one or use the new one.

Note: If you choose to override an existing timeslot, all metrics using that timeslot are updated to use the new one.

To copy a timeslot from a contract, contract template or timeslot template:

1. In the Timeslots tab click Add New and select:
   • Select From Timeslot Template to copy a timeslot from a timeslot template. A list of available timeslot templates opens.
   • Select From Contract Template to copy a timeslot from a contract template. A list of available contract templates opens.
   • Select From Contract to copy a timeslot from a contract. A list of available contracts opens.

   Note: The list of contracts opens per contract party. Expand the contract party to view its contracts.

2. Select the contract to which you want to copy the timeslot and then click Select.

   The Timeslot Details page opens.

3. If desired, update the timeslot template details.
4. Click Save.

   The timeslot is copied from the contract to the target contract and the updated contract's Timeslots page opens.

A timeslot can be copied to a contract or contract template.

To copy a timeslot to a contract or contract template:

1. In the Timeslot page, right-click on the timeslot you want to copy.
2. In the drop-down list, choose the relevant option:
   • Select Copy to Contract Template to copy the timeslot to a contract template
   • Select Copy to Contract to copy the timeslot to a contract
3. The Select Contract (or Contract Template) dialog box opens according to your selection in step 2.

   Note: The list of contracts and contract templates opens per contract party. Expand the contract party to view its contracts and contract templates.

4. Select the contract or contract party to which you want to copy the contract.
5. Click Select.

   The Timeslots page opens.

6. [Optional]. Modify the timeslot as required.
7. Click Save.

   The timeslot is copied to the target contract or contract template and the updated contract (or contract template) Details page opens.
