Duplicate a Contract

The latest version of an existing contract can be used to duplicate the contract thereby creating a new contract.

When duplicating a contract, attachments designated as contract specific are not duplicated.

Tip: Save existing contracts as contract templates or service level templates for reuse. For more information, see Saving a Contract as a Contract Template and Saving a Contract as a Service Level Template.

Follow these steps:

  1. In the Contracts page, click next to the contract you want to use as a base for the new contract and select Duplicate.

    The Contract Details page opens showing the details of the duplicated contract.

  2. In Name, enter a new name for the contract.
  3. Modify the fields as required. For more information, see Creating a Contract from Scratch.
  4. Click Apply.
  5. Modify the fields in all the other tabs as required. For more information, see Creating a Contract from Scratch.
  6. Click Apply to save changes and stay in the current page.
  7. Click Save to save changes and return to the previous page.
  8. Click Cancel to discard changes and return to the previous page.
