Duplicate a Contract
The latest version of an existing contract can be used to duplicate the contract thereby creating a new contract.
When duplicating a contract, attachments designated as contract specific are not duplicated.
Tip: Save existing contracts as contract templates or service level templates for reuse. For more information, see Saving a Contract as a Contract Template and Saving a Contract as a Service Level Template.
Follow these steps:
- In the Contracts page, click
next to the contract you want to use as a base for the new contract and select Duplicate.
The Contract Details page opens showing the details of the duplicated contract.
- In Name, enter a new name for the contract.
- Modify the fields as required. For more information, see Creating a Contract from Scratch.
- Click Apply.
- Modify the fields in all the other tabs as required. For more information, see Creating a Contract from Scratch.
- Click Apply to save changes and stay in the current page.
- Click Save to save changes and return to the previous page.
- Click Cancel to discard changes and return to the previous page.
