A metric can be copied from any Service Level Template to a specific contract template.
A metric can be copied from any contract template to a specific Service Level Template.
Follow these steps:
The Contract Template Details page All Metrics tab opens.
-or-
Select Attach all metrics to this service and from the drop-down list, select the service to which the metrics are applied.
Note: The Keep original services and Attach all metrics options are only available when CA Business Service Insight is configured to allow services to be overridden. Go to Administration, Site Settings, Advanced, Contract.
The Contract Template Details page All Metrics tab displays with the added metrics shown.
If mandatory metrics exist, but were not selected the following confirmation dialog box opens:
To copy a specific metric to a specific contract template
The Select Service Level Template dialog box opens.
The Metric Details page opens.
The metric is added to the contract template and the Contract Template Details page opens.
