Table-Type Parameters
Defining table-type parameters is a two-step process performed by:
- Defining the table structure
- Setting the values
To define the table structure:
- In the Parameter Structure Editor page, select Table in the Type drop-down list.
- Click Add Column. A column is added to the table:
- In the Name field, type the name of the column
- In the Type field, select the type of the column from the drop-down list
- In the Default field, type the desired default value
- Repeat step 2 for each column you want to add.
- Click OK. The table structure is completed and the Parameters tab is updated with the new parameter.
To set the table values:
- Click
next to the parameter. The Table Details page opens.
- Click Add Row to append an additional row.
- Fill in the required values.
Notes:
- The index column has a unique value for each row.
- Table parameter index keys are accessed by the Business-Logic module as textual strings and are sorted as in a dictionary (e.g. "10" and "11" precede "2").
- The table can have up to 120 entries.
- Click
to view or edit the table in an MS Excel worksheet.
Note: Microsoft Excel 2000 or later is required in order to use this feature.
