Content Transfer Terminology

The following list indicates new terms used in the Content Transfer feature:

• Source Environment

  This is the environment to connect to in order to transfer entities

• Local Environment

This is the environment to which the entities are going to be transferred to. Since this is the environment the user is logged on to, it is called the local environment.

• Leading Entity

  An entity that can be selected individually for transfer. For example: Contract, Business Logic Module and Report.

• Related Entities

  The entities that are required to be transferred together with a leading entity, in order for the transfer of the leading entity to be complete. For example: contract party is a related entity of a contract. This means that when a leading entity is selected for transfer, the related entities of this entity is transferred as well.
