The Assign ACE Instance to Contract Party dialog opens.
A Recalculation History is a list of metrics that have been recalculated and whose recalculation is more than 30 days in the past. You can use the Recalculation History window to search (filter) for specific metrics that have been recalculated.
Follow these steps:
The Recalculation History window displays a list of all metrics that have been recalculated.
Calculated Data Lock prevents you from performing a recalculation on a contract's data according to the option selected.
Follow these steps:
The Calculated Data Lock window appears.
Note: This is the starting date of the lock.
A list of all contracts matching the search criteria displays.
The data corresponding to the selected contracts and dates is now locked to recalculation.
Calculated Data Unlock reverses the effects of Calculated Data Lock.
Calculation policy applies to metric calculation granularity. A calculation policy determines the minimum and maximum time between calculations for each calculation granularity (hours, days, weeks, and others) of metrics.
Upon receipt of a calculation event or a system change, the calculation engine waits the "Minimum time" before performing calculations (even if events continue to enter the system). If no events occur, the system performs a calculation after the "Maximum time".
Note: Applies to the ACE2 engine only.
Note: The Default Calculation Policy and the Default Clustered Calculation Policy are identified by an icon in front of each in the Calculation Policies window.
You can Create New Calculation policies as required.
Follow these steps:
The Calculation Policy window displays.
Note: The default number of minutes in the max time units (such as the number of minutes per day) are not the actual number of minutes per unit. In general the default number of minutes per unit is less than the actual number. This ensures that the calculation granularity is higher than a tracking period of the same unit. You can select any number of minutes for any unit as required.
The Calculation Policy window displays with the new policy added.
A Calculation Policy can be applied to Contract Parties, Contracts and individual metrics.
Follow these steps:
The ACE Instances per Metric dialog displays. It lists all contracts that belong to the Contract Party and all metrics that belong to each Contract. It also lists the ACE Instance assigned to each Metric.
Note: This can be done only for metrics assigned to ACE2.
The Assign ACE Instance to metrics dialog displays.
The menu opens.
Note: This Calculation Policy applies to all metrics that are checked.
