Start a Content Transfer Job
The Content Transfer Wizard is the tool used to transfer CA Business Service Insight objects into your current (local) environment from a different CA Business Service Insight environment (the source). In addition, the wizard enables defining source environments and monitoring the status of transfer jobs.
To start a transfer job:
- Login to CA Business Service Insight on the local environment. This is the environment that receives the entities from the source.
- Click Administration, Content Transfer, Content Transfer Wizard. The Welcome step opens.
- Perform steps described in the Welcome step and click Next. The Select Entities step opens.
- Perform steps described in the Select Entities step and click Next. The Conflict Resolution step opens.
- Perform steps described in the Conflict Resolution step and click Next. The Summary step opens.
- Perform steps described in the Summary step and click Finish. The transfer job is created.
The job is executed asynchronously.
