Share Comparison Data on Cloud Commons

You can configure a local service so that your comparison data is shared on Cloud Commons. When you choose this option, you can begin to access peer and category comparison data on Cloud Commons. This system allows you to contribute information that affects comparison scores that others can access.

Note: Turn on global sharing before you can share comparison data on Cloud Commons. On the Administration menu, Click Site Settings, Global Sharing to open the Global Sharing Settings dialog.

Follow these steps:

  1. Click Service Discovery on the Design menu.

The Service Discovery and Management page opens.

  2. Click the Data and Sharing Management Tab.
  3. Select the service for which you want to share data, then click the Service Action Button and select Configure Service for Sharing.

A new window opens with the following data sharing options for the selected service:

    Match Found on Cloud Commons

If a match is found on Cloud Commons for this service, a summary table lists the service name, definition, categories, and capabilities. Click the Share Data button.

Match not Found on Cloud Commons

If a match is not found on Cloud Commons for this service, click Browse to search Cloud Commons for an alternative service, or work with options to add your service to Cloud Commons.

  4. Click the Share Data button if a match was found, click Submit to Cloud Consortium to enter your category submission.

    The Data Sharing dialog closes.
