You can use the Security options to create and manage users and organizations that have access to the CA Business Service Insight application and the roles they are permitted to perform.
Every CA Business Service Insight user is assigned one or more roles. The role determines which actions the user can and cannot perform within CA Business Service Insight. Actions that cannot be performed by the role are not displayed in the CA Business Service Insight user interface when that user accesses the application.
When adding a new role or editing an existing role, permissions for handling adapters can be granted. The available adapter permissions are:
The user is allowed or denied the ability to add and delete data source templates.
The user is allowed or denied the ability to update adapter defaults for the General step.
The user is allowed or denied the ability to view, add, update and delete adapter time formats.
The user is allowed or denied the ability to view, add, update and delete adapters.
