The Catalog pane is a Dashboard pane that contains the repository of entities, custom widgets, and user pages. The entities, custom widgets, dashviews and pages in the Catalog are placed onto the workspace by using the drag-and-drop operation. The Catalog pane is comprised of the following tabs:
This tab contains a repository of entity categories (Metric, Contract, Contract Party, Contract Party Group, Service Group, Service, Report. (Service Level Management Contracts, Contract Parties and Contract Party Groups are included in the Contract, Contract Party, Contract Party Group categories). Each category entity can be expanded to show the defined objects. A filter is also available for each entity category so that the user can view only specific entities. This tab contains the custom widget icons. For more information, see Entity and Widgets Catalog.
This tab contains the user's repository of dashview icons (New, URL, Tabular, Saved Searches, Favorites and Task Pane). For more information, see Dashviews Catalog.
This tab contains the user's repository of personal, shared and assigned pages. Each section can be expanded or collapsed. For more information, see Pages Catalog.
The Catalog pane is accessed by clicking 
on the left hand edge of the Dashboard workspace. To close it (enlarges the workspace) click
