The features that you are able to access in CA Business Service Insight depend on your user privileges and how the application has been configured by the system administrator. The User Details page enables you to customize some user preferences.

Modify the user ID
|
- In User ID, enter a new user ID.
- Click Save.

Change your password
|
- In Password, enter your new password.
- In Password verification, enter your new password. (Passwords must be between three and ten characters and cannot contain spaces. Passwords are case sensitive).
- Click Save.

Change the description
|
- In Description, enter a new description of the user.
- Click Save.

Change the organization
|
- In Organization, select the desired organization.
- Click Save.

Select the language
|
- In Preferred language, select the desired language. This is the interface language that the user will work in. It can be changed by the user at any time. CA Business Service Insight is currently available in English, German, French, Spanish and Italian.
- Click Save.

Select the Preferred culture
|
In Preferred culture, select the desired culture.

Email
|
Enter the email address.
|

Select a time zone
|
- In Time zone, select a new time zone. The time zone determines the current time displayed in the application.
- Click Save.

Define whether or not password changes are mandatory
|
- In Password change is, select Required or Not required. If password change is required, in User password expiration interval, set the interval time in days.
- Click Save.

Select the user status
|
- In User Status, select Active or Inactive to activate deactivate the user.
- Click Save.

Specify the time for closing notification messages
|
- In Notification messages, click Close after and specify the time (in seconds) after which the notification messages are closed automatically.
- Click Save.

- In Notification messages, click Don't show.
- Click Save.

Add or remove the user from user groups
|
- In Member of user groups, select the user groups to which the user should belong to from the Available list, and click the arrow, or double-click the group. The user groups moves to the Member of user groups list.
- Click Save.

Give a user access to contract parties
|
- In Accessible Contract Parties, select Full access to all Contract Parties and Groups to give full access.

- Choose select Contract Parties and Groups and then select the contract party or contract party group to whom the user has access to from the Available list and click the arrow, or double-click the contract party (group). The contract party and/or contract party group moves to the May access Contract Parties list.
- Click Save.

Assign a user to a role
|
- In Roles, select the roles to which the user should belong to from the Available list and click the arrow, or double-click the role. The roles move to the User's roles list.
