Verify Upgrade

Verify the upgrade by performing the following steps:

Follow these steps:

  1. Log in to CA Service Catalog.
  2. Click Service Builder, Configuration, and click Content Packs.

    The content packs for Release 1.6 and Release 1.5.SP01 appears.

  3. Verify that all users are available and you are able to log in to CA Service Catalog.
  4. Compare the values in the contentpack.properties file that is located in the CA ASC VMware View content pack folder with what appears on the screen:
    Content Pack Details

    Lists the details that you specified when you created the content pack. For example, the name, version, status, and actions.

    Content Section

    Specifies the objects according to the import criteria selected. The following list describes the objects:

    • Services
    • Service Option Groups
    • Forms
    • Rule Actions
    • Report Data Objects
    • Report Variables

    Note: For the service cartridge to perform as expected after the upgrade, restart CA Process Automation Agent in the VMware View server.

    You have verified the upgrade.
